I just wanted to comment that the site is very nice. I started my firefighting career in this department in 1980. In 83 I just the Air Force to be a fire fighter. Today I'm still in the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant and the Fire Chief at Malmstrom AFB, MT. Nice to see HFD is still a succesful volunteer department. jeffrey.nabozny at malmstrom.af.mil

We purchased what I believe was one of your pumpers from Jon Midamerica Fire Trucks, what we purchased was a 1995 Spartan/darley engine in which I found a tag with Hampden Twp Relief Assoc, truck 30 inside behind the engine doghouse. We are the Findlay Fire Protection District located in Findlay Illinois 62534 which is in central Illinois by Lake Shelbyville, we are a small volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept that protects both farm land, business, and wildland/urban interface plus the campgrounds and resort by the lake. We bought this pumper for our second engine out, we have a 2001 smeal engine, 2003 Ford F550 brush truck, 1983 and 2004 tankers, 2000 fire boat and a 2000 ambulance. we cover 75 square miles with a constant population of 2000 which swells greatly in the summer as we have about 3 million visitors that come to the lake. We hope this engine works out for us, and we think it will. Any information that you have about this engine would appreciated. Information can be sent E-mail to ffpd1@cmecwildblue.com
Thank you

Just wanted to extend our thanks to everyone who assisted with our "station" renovations. Let's hear it for the brotherhood! Hopefully, we'll be down for a visit soon to break bread and tell war stories. Thanks again, brothers - your help is greatly appreciated!

We went to your open house and really enjoyed ourselves. This was our second year and my daughter always enjoys the bucket ride and putting out the fire with the fire hose. We wanted to thank you for all your help to our community. We appreciate your dedication and hard work. Thank you for being there when we(community) needs you. Everytime we hear the sirens, our family stops what we are doing and says a prayer for the firefighters, ambulance personnel, and for the people injured. I know you all volunteer and again....we appreciate it.
